Two Places to Dine in San Antonio During Culinaria Restaurant Week

WARNING: Do not read this post while you’re hungry or you will be knocking down the doors of several local San Antonio restaurants participating in Culinaria’s Restaurant Week. Not familiar with the event? Culinaria, a non-profit organization that promotes San Antonio’s food and wine culture, hosts their famous Restaurant Week, but for a number of weeks in a row because of all the amazing food our city has to offer. The best problem to have is to have too many gourmet spots to choose from that we couldn’t fit them all in just one week! This is the last week to eat at participating restaurants, whose chefs usually design special menus for the occasion, so it’s not too late to dive into the deliciousness at hand.

Might we suggest Galpão Gaucho, one of our loyal clients who has been serving up fine Brazilian meats to the San Antonio area since 2015. The dinner menu includes 17 different cuts of meat ranging from beef, pork, chicken, lamb, and fish. Even the pickiest eater has something to look forward to in this dining experience. Check out their menu and try not to drool on your keyboard while making a reservation. COVID-19 may have taken away lunch service, but dinner service is running hot and the well-trained servers are prepared to stop by your table and slice off fresh cuts right onto your plate. Don’t forget the veggies and salad bar, and delicious homemade sweet flan for dessert.

If you’re more in the mood for eating with your hands and scarfing down some tacos, you’re totally covered! Sangria on the Burg is another one of our loyal clients who is offering up some treats during Culinaria’s final Restaurant Week. Due to limited seating and high demand (everyone wants those delicious goodies!), Sangria on the Burg has implemented a helpful table time limit for guests, and are happily cooking up their famous sliders, tacos, and salads.  Let us not forget the ever-essential drinks, like margaritas, wine, the Pom Pom Mule, and cold draft beer. Everything is curated to be a culinary perfection, down to the slider bread which is made and delivered fresh daily. Don’t want to fight for parking spots? Sangria on the Burg recently started a promotion where you can show your Uber or Lyft receipt to the manager for your trip to the restaurant that day, and your table will get one free batch of chips and queso as a way of saying thank you for carsharing and making the special trip out.
