Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and close new commercial insurance opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and relationship building
  • Conduct coverage reviews and identify gaps in protection
  • Present customized insurance solutions tailored to client needs
  • Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and clients
  • Collaborate with internal service teams to deliver an exceptional client experience
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and production expectations
  • Stay informed on market trends, carrier appetite, and industry changes
  • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development

Qualifications

  • Active Texas Insurance License preferred (General Lines P&C)
  • Previous experience in commercial insurance, B2B sales, or related sales roles
  • Proven ability to develop and close business relationships
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Highly organized with excellent time management abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and goal-oriented environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Marketing Plan in place

Compensation

  • Base Salary: Starting at $40,000+

At SOGO Insurance, we’re growing,  and we’re excited to add a Commercial Lines Account Manager to our team. This role is all about supporting our business clients, keeping things organized behind the scenes, and making sure our clients feel confident, supported, and well taken care of.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates clearly, and takes pride in delivering great service every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage and support a portfolio of Commercial Insurance Clients
  • Handle renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance (COIs), and audits
  • Review policies to make sure coverage truly fits each client’s business
  • Work directly with insurance carriers on policy updates and documentation
  • Be a go-to resource for business owners and internal team members
  • Spot coverage needs and collaborate with the sales team on growth opportunities
  • Keep client files organized, accurate, and up to date

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Fluency in Spanish (read, write, and speak) is required U.S. citizenship or valid authorization to work in the U.S.
