We’re nearly through Black History Month, but it’s not too late to show your support for this particular month of awareness. So we’re bringing you a list of black-owned businesses in the San Antonio area that we are celebrating and promoting this month. From food to wellness to performance arts, there’s something for everyone to enjoy while supporting a movement that hopes to end racial injustice in our community and provide growth opportunities for minorities in business.
Bayseas Catfish House – You don’t have to travel to far-off places to find a delicious plate of Soul Food that will have you dancing in your seat. This magical business is a creative space where performing and visual artists “gather to learn, collaborate, celebrate, and contemplate.” Acting classes, workshops, musical groups, and more are available within these walls. In addition, independent and professional instructors teach students to reach their personal creative goals. You can even book a party or event here, so if you get a little bit shy, gather your closest friends and make it a whole private event.
